Hogar de Esperanza (Home of Hope) is an orphanage which offers a loving home and a future to orphaned, abandoned and abused children in Peru.
We are a non-denominational Christian ministry which first opened our doors to homeless children in October 2001, delivering high quality care to at-risk children. Our children come from a variety of backgrounds including abandonment, extreme poverty, family violence and abuse.
The orphanage provides kids with a safe and loving family environment, an education and vocational formation as well as a faith-filled atmosphere where they can be instilled with the values centered in the person of Jesus Christ.
Hogar de Esperanza has a clean and modern facility equipped with offices, classrooms, a playground, garden, kitchen, cafeteria and volunteer apartments. There are also four beautiful houses where tutorial mothers and our children live together in groups of no more than twelve. The tutorial mothers live continuously with a group of children in a family-like setting and provide the care and love the children need.
We have the capacity to provide 48 children with faith, family and a chance at the promising future they deserve.
